Im back!

Im back from the show!!yay.
It was such a fun weekend, my bunnies did really well. when we got the show it took us a while to find a spot to set up, it was so cram packed in the rabbit show room, once we found a spot we went to get our papers to make sure all our bunnies were entered right. we ended up waiting and waiting for the lionhead show, it was the last show of the day, my mom showed her Netherland Dwarfs, "Bolt" and "Labrynth", bolt won his class but was the only sable point JR buck there was. Labrynth ended up showing against about 6 other JR siamese sable bucks and he placed 1st! and got his first Leg (Win). Then after hours of waiting we got the lionheads up, the judge was a really nice judge but she seemed to diss the agouti lionheads, she ended up picking between 3 does on the table that she liked best, these were the three does she was going to pick between to win Best Of Breed, one of the does was "Twinkle Toes" a doe i gave my mom, the other doe the judge liked was "Hannah" a doe i bought and then gave to my mom, and the third doe she liked was "Calico" my little tort i bought a few weeks ago, she ended up picking Twinkle Toes for Best Of Breed, and a tort buck "Manely's Stomper" from canada as Best Opposite.

Once the show was over we gathered our ribbons together and went looking for our hotel, we passed by a few hotels but none were the hotel we were staying in, we passed by this one hotel called the Thunderbird and it looked like a cockroach ridden hotel, it was pretty nasty looking, we were glad we werent staying there, our hotel was the I-90 hotel, we ended up getting a back room right on the lake, it was so nice, it was a great hotel, we went and got Taco Bell for dinner and watched movies on the cable TV in the room, then everyone talked and went to bed, in the morning the hotel had a continental breakfast, which was great and then we headed back out to the show grounds.

again the lionheads were set to be last in the show. So my mom showed her netherlands and Bolt and Labrynth won their classes yet again, someone from California really ended up loving labrynth and bought him for her Netherland Program, hated to see him go but we cant keep em all. Then it was the Holland Class, my sisters lop was DQed for no tattoo in his ear....ooops
my holland doe went up and she got 2nd place in the JR broken holland doe class, i was thrilled, then the open lionhead class went up, i wasnt entered in this class because i entered my lions in the youth class, so my mom and sister showed, along with our friends and another girl. The judge didnt do a good job at all! he didnt know the standard very well and didnt judge on type or mane, he judged on how clean they were (Means how little wool they have)....which was not fair, so he ended up picking a tort doe from some girl for Best Of breed just because it was the cleanest one in the class, but it was long in body, had a skinny head and had so wool at all so didnt even look like a lion.....but we congratulated the girl anyhow because we cant win em all, and my sister got Best Opp of breed with her chinchilla lionhead "Sherekhan" . Then the youth lionheads were up, i was the only one showing and my doe "Calico" won Best Of Breed, and my buck "Fender" won Best Opp. so all in all it was a great weekend and we had tons of fun and we cant wait till next years show.
